Biography
After spending the past year learning and working with clients I have decided that my focus and career specialism will be in 3D creation. Sutton Hoo Exhibition
My project has been focusing on the development and testing of my 3D skills. So far with this course I have found a passion for 3D and the availability to pursue it. However this alone isn’t enough to create an entire project, I needed a story, a narrative, a reason for the creation of my assets.
For this I decided to dig further into the rich history that the UK has and wanted to uncover some of the stories that haven’t had as much of the spotlight. This is when I stumbled upon the story of Sutton Hoo and Basil Brown.
This brief has challenged me to create some really detailed models, normal maps from images, complex PBR textures for some of the models. It was all about finding a balance between education and digital technologies, therefore I decided that I should place the models in a 3D exhibition. This has been the hardest work to date however I really hope you enjoy it.
